Unifor for WestJet Workers
Only a union can give you a voice in uncertain times for WestJet and the airline industry.
Only a union can give you a voice in uncertain times for WestJet and the airline industry.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused great uncertainty for airlines and airline workers. At WestJet, there’s the added insecurity of new ownership.
While all airline workers are facing the same uncertainty due to the pandemic – though most without the added pressure of new owners – other airline workers such as those at Air Canada have the predictability and voice in the workplace that comes with a union-negotiated collective agreement spelling out how such issues as layoffs and recalls will be handled.
At WestJet, momentum is building to gain such a voice in the workplace, and you can be part of that.
