Before you vote, we want you to have the facts

On Monday, WestJet Contact Centre workers are expected to begin voting on whether to join Unifor.
Between now and then, we're going to send you a few short emails about what joining a union actually means, what happens after a YES vote and some of the questions we've been hearing from workers.
We want you to make an informed decision about your workplace and your future.
For too long, Contact Centre workers have felt the pressure of decisions about workload, scheduling, breaks, wages and constant workplace changes, without having a collective voice when those decisions are made.
You've adapted through change after change and continued to keep WestJet moving.
Contact Centre workers are now one of the last major groups at WestJet with the opportunity to gain a certified collective voice and the legal right to negotiate their working conditions.
A YES vote gives you a seat at the table.
It means workers identify their priorities, elect their bargaining representatives and negotiate collectively with WestJet about the things that affect you every day.
Over the next few days, we'll talk about bargaining, collective agreements, what happens after the vote and what having Unifor representation could mean for you.
Have questions along the way? Ask us. We want workers engaged, asking questions and getting the information they need before casting their ballot.
You've had to adapt to decisions for a long time.
Now you have the opportunity to have a say in them.
