We wanted to take a moment to check in with you directly about the organizing efforts for the WestJet IT Department. While many of our recent emails have spoken to the larger Unifor campaign across multiple WestJet worker groups, I want to reconnect specifically with you about what this means for IT workers.

Joining Unifor means having a real say in your working conditions through a collective agreement that protects your rights, secures fair treatment, and ensures your voice is heard when important decisions are made. As union members, you gain the power to negotiate on wages, job security, scheduling, remote work policies, and other key workplace issues that matter to you.

We’ve seen tremendous support from the IT Department, and we are close to reaching the majority of support needed to move forward. With just a few more cards left to collect, now is the time to help spread the word and build excitement about why Unifor is the right choice for WestJet IT workers.

Your conversations with coworkers can make a huge impact in ensuring we reach the finish line together. If you have any questions, want to chat, or are ready to sign your card, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Let’s build a better future for WestJet IT workers—together.

Sign your Unifor membership card today to secure your job and protect your future. If you have any questions or need more information, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Unifor organizing team.
