We wanted to take a moment to check in with you directly about the organizing efforts for Operations Coordinators, Crew Schedulers, and supporting roles at WestJet. While many of our recent updates have focused on the broader Unifor campaign across multiple WestJet worker groups, I want to connect specifically with you about what this means for the Operations Control Centre (OCC) team.

By joining Unifor, you gain a real voice in your workplace and the ability to negotiate for better working conditions through a collective agreement. This means stronger protections, fairer scheduling, improved wages, and a say in the decisions that impact your daily work. Right now, these decisions are made without your input—but as union members, you’ll have the power to shape the future of your roles at WestJet.

We’ve already seen strong support from OCC workers, and we are close to reaching the majority needed to move forward. With just a few more cards left to collect, now is the time to spread the word and build momentum about why Unifor is the right choice.

Your conversations with coworkers will make all the difference in ensuring we reach the finish line together. If you have any questions, want to chat, or are ready to sign your card, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Let’s build a stronger, fairer workplace for WestJet OCC workers—together.

Sign your Unifor membership card today to secure your job and protect your future. If you have any questions or need more information, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Unifor organizing team.
