We want to be honest and upfront with you. There is growing uncertainty across WestJet right now. We have received several messages from YEG workers about concerns around business decline, cost cutting reviews, and the very real risk of outsourcing.
When leadership says everything is on the table, workers are right to ask what that means for their jobs.
This is a moment to decide whether you want real protection or to keep hoping decisions are made in your favour. A collective agreement is what gives workers enforceable rights and stability when times get uncertain. Workers at YYZ, YVR, and YYC already have that protection through Unifor.
