Voting is now open.

After months of conversations, questions and organizing by WestJet Contact Centre workers, today you finally get to make your decision.

The question on your ballot is:

“Do you wish to have Unifor represent you as your bargaining agent in collective bargaining with your employer?”

We are asking you to VOTE YES.

Check your email and vote

Voting opened at 9:00 a.m. MT today and remains open until 9:00 a.m. MT Friday, September 18.

Eligible voters should receive an email with voting instructions and a personal PIN at the email address WestJet provided to the CIRB.

Your PIN is personal. Do not share it with anyone.

Your vote is by secret ballot and strictly confidential.

WestJet will not know how you voted.

Didn’t receive your voting email?

If voting has opened and you have not received your voting credentials, contact CIRB Returning Officer Andrew Poon at 343-549-9128 and leave a message with your name, phone number and personal email address.

You should also contact him if you lose or misplace your PIN.

This is your decision

For years, you have adapted to changes in your workplace.

Today, you have the opportunity to decide whether you want a collective voice in what comes next.

A YES vote gives you the legal right to bargain collectively with WestJet over your wages, benefits, job security and working conditions.

It gives you the right to elect your representatives, determine your bargaining priorities and have a seat at the table.

Today, you decide.

Check your email. Cast your ballot. Vote YES for Unifor.
