WestJet Calgary Meetings – Protect Canadian Jobs

Hey everyone,
After the latest internal updates from WestJet, it’s clear that more Contact Centre jobs are at risk as the company continues shifting work to TELUS Digital. Over the past year, hundreds of Calgary-based jobs have already been moved offshore, and TELUS Digital is now expanding its operation in El Salvador, taking on even more WestJet work.
Workers here in Canada are seeing hours reduced, schedules cut, and hiring freezes, all while new training classes continue abroad. These aren’t isolated changes, they’re part of a long-term plan to make WestJet leaner as Onex prepares for its IPO.
Now is the time to come together, share your experiences, and talk about what these changes mean for your future. These meetings are your chance to have your say, ask questions, and stand united to defend good Canadian jobs before they’re gone for good.
Meeting Dates and Locations:
North Calgary
Thursday, November 13 – 9:30 a.m. & 7:30 p.m.

These discussions matter. We’ve already seen what happens when jobs are outsourced, and once they’re gone, they don’t come back.
