Thank You to All Our Candidates
We want to extend a sincere thank you to every member who stepped forward and accepted a nomination.
Putting your name forward to represent your coworkers takes commitment and a willingness to make a difference. Whether you were successful in this election or not, your participation is an important part of building a strong, democratic union.
We encourage everyone who put their name forward, and those who may be considering getting involved, to continue looking for opportunities to participate in your union. There will be many ways to contribute as we build our membership structures and move forward together.
What's Next?
With the Bargaining Committee being established, our next steps will include preparing for negotiations, gathering members' priorities through a bargaining survey and developing proposals that reflect the changes Contact Centre employees want to achieve.
Your Bargaining Committee will play an important role in representing your interests at the bargaining table, but the strength of our first collective agreement will come from the participation and solidarity of our entire membership.
Congratulations again to our successful candidates, and thank you to everyone who participated in this important democratic process.
Together, we are building a stronger voice for WestJet Contact Centre employees.
