What would you change if you had a real say?

Over the last several months, we've heard from Contact Centre workers about the pressure you're feeling at work.

Workloads. Scheduling. Breaks. Wages and benefits. Job security. Constant workplace changes. And sometimes simply wanting to feel heard and respected.

For years, you've been expected to adapt as WestJet has changed.

Now you have an opportunity to have a collective voice in those changes.

That's really what this vote is about.

When you vote YES for Unifor, you aren't voting for someone else to decide what's important to you. You and your coworkers decide what you want to improve.

Before bargaining begins, Contact Centre workers will have the opportunity to identify their priorities. You elect coworkers to represent you at the bargaining table, and those priorities become the basis for negotiations with WestJet.

Maybe your priorities are wages and benefits.

Maybe they're scheduling, breaks or workload.

Maybe you're concerned about job security, outsourcing or how future changes will affect your job.

Those decisions belong to you and your coworkers.

Other groups at WestJet have already gained the ability to negotiate collectively over their working conditions. Contact Centre workers are one of the last major groups at WestJet without that collective voice.

It's your turn to have a say.

Having a union doesn't mean WestJet stops making business decisions. It means workers have a recognized collective voice when decisions affect their working conditions, backed by the protections of a collective agreement.
