It’s hard to believe is has been just over two weeks since Onex made its bid to buy WestJet – so much has happened. So much has been said.

On top of that, Air Canada has announced that it is in exclusive talks to buy Air Transat.

With all this turmoil in the industry, which some observers say might not be over yet, WestJet frontline airport workers have been actively engaging with Unifor organizers and signing Unifor membership cards.

It’s hardly surprising. In times like these, a voice in the workplace is needed even more.

With so much going on, and with so many new WestJetters joining this email communication, it is worth reviewing some of the communications that have gone out lately, and to point you to some features on our WestJet website, unifor.org/westjet.

The website includes a catalogue of all our emails to card signers (such as this email) and press releases under the Updates tab. Click here to see these.

You will also find a new tab taking a closer look at Onex, under the Who is Onex tab. Click here to see more.

If you still have questions, feel free to ask any of your Organizers below, and keep watching for these emails and sharing them with your co-workers.
